Meet Our Team

Jerry is a third-year student, from Flushing, NY, studying biomedical and electrical engineering. This is his 7th year doing Model UN, and third year in CWRUMUN! Jerry has also chaired and written background guides for several home team conferences. Outside of MUN, Jerry is a big NY sports fan (Knicks/Mets/Giants/Rangers) and enjoys discovering new places.

Tharun is a third-year student studying computer engineering, and plays the piano in his spare time. Tharun has been doing Model UN since 2019 and loves money. Therefore it comes as no surprise that he handles the club's finances for the 2024-2025 academic year. Tharun has previously represented CWRUMUN on the travel team, winning an honorable mention at the Midwest Training conference simulation.Some of his interests include sports and video games.

Aashi Gupta is a second-year double-majoring in Neuroscience and English.  She is from Cleveland, OH (the best city!) Aashi participated and led her high school Model United Nations team, and she intially joined Model United nations to learn more about international relations and better her public speaking skills. Currently, she travels with the CWRU Model United nations travel team. She is the previous Chief of Staff from the 2024-2025 year. Aashi is an advent supporter of the color pink, and her favorite song to listen to before conferences both in and out of Cleveland is California Gurls by Katy Perry. Aashi's favorite drink is Chai, and she loves to bake sweet treats in her free time! 

Hayden is a first-year double-majoring in Political Science and History. She is from San Angelo, TX (but go Browns though!) She joined CWRU Model United Nations because she wanted to improve her public speaking skills and learn more about a variety of different topics. She is also super excited to have also been able to make really great friends at CWRU Model United Nations! Her favorite beverage is a diet Dr. Pepper, she also loves a good dirty soda!

Elijah Tylea-Cooke is a third-year double-majoring in International Relations and Economics. He is from Baltimore, MD. Elijah a big fan of history and horror books even though he has never have time to read much! Elijah joined Model United Nations at CWRU because Model United Nations was his motivation for studying International Relations in undergrad, and it was super fun to meet like-minded people and negotiate around fascinating topics. In his free time, Elijah alsos like writing, playing in the Spartan marching band, and going to museums with his friends! Elijah's favorite drink is a strawberry-banana-peanut butter smoothie. He believes that in committees, it's often better to listen to all your fellow delegates rather than be the one leading little blocs.

Jenny is a fourth-year double-majoring in Biology and Sociology. She is from Cleveland, OH. Jenny has previously staffed the Spring CCWA Middle School conference in 2022. Jenny joined Model United Nations because she wanted to learn more about foreign affairs and international relations. This is her fourth-year on the team, and she is super excited to see the team grow and mentor new delegates! A new recent interest of her's is Figure Skating, she is super excited to see who wins each category in Milano-Cortina 2026. Outside of Model United Nations, Jenny enjoys birdwatching and writing. You can talk to Jenny about Katseye, Skullpanda, blindboxes, matcha, and hiking! She is super excited to be the Equity Officer for the Fall 2025 conference.
